Regulatory Compliant (RC) PTFE Products for Greases and Lubricants
Shamrock offers a range of Regulatory Compliant (RC) PTFE micropowders made from Natural prime and Recycled raw materials.
Shamrock RC PTFE products are produced to be in compliance with the Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2020/784 amending Annex I to POPs Regulation (EU) 2019/1021 (per Shamrock QSOP-202E).
Addendum: The EU has added C9-C14 PFCAs and C9-C14 PFCA-related substances under ANNEX XVII of REACH. The new law will become effective on February 25, 2023.
On August 5, 2021, the European Union (EU) published Regulation (EU) 2021/1297 to replace entry 68 to Annex XVII of Regulation (EC) 1907/2006 on Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH, consolidated version to July 2021) in relation to ‘Restrictions on the manufacturing, placing on the market and use of certain dangerous substances, mixtures and articles.’
Natural Prime for PTFE Greases & Lubricants
Fluoro GE
Fluoro GE sub-micron PTFE are powders made from emulsion grade Natural Prime PTFE. These products cover a range of molecular weights to determine dispersability, thickening and performance properties. Due to the small particle size, the GE products have a larger specific surface area when compared to other PTFE.

Fluoro GS
Fluoro GS powders are made from unsintered, suspension grade Natural Prime PTFE. These products are characterized by the uniform, crystalline structure of PTFE provide increased slip and abrasion properties.

Fluoro GT
Fluoro GT PTFE micro powders are made from highly crystalline, sintered PTFE. These products can be added with minimal to no change to the viscosity of the system. They impart excellent lubricity and wear resistance.
