Shamrock’s NanoFLON® Series consists of submicron polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) powders. NanoFLON® makes it easy to impart key fluoropolymer properties to your product, including slip, wear resistance, and release.
Product Description
NanoFLON® 119N-RC is based on prime PTFE which is agglomerated form of emulsion polymerized sub-micron primary particle sized PTFE and are produced to be in compliance with EU regulatory requirements.
Application
NanoFLON® 119N-RC is a performance additive designed for various thermoplastics and elastomers to reduce friction, stick-slip, and enhance anti-wear properties. Complete dispersion into primary particles for optimal performance can be achieved by pre-mixing in high intensity mixers and extruded as a concentrate or masterbatch.
NanoFLON® 119N-RC may be compounded into polyesters, polyamides, polystyrene, polyvinylidene fluoride, and other engineering plastics and blow-molded into thin films to impart the desired surface slip.
