Sub-Micron Polytetrafluoroethylene Powder

Shamrock’s NanoFLON® Series consists of nano-sized PTFE powder. NanoFLON® makes it easier to add key fluoropolymer properties to your product, including slip, abrasion resistance and release. The ultra-fine powders are engineered using our own proprietary process that allows easy dispersion and primary particle sizes as small as 200 nanometers.

Product Description:

NanoFLON® 114T-RC is a prime PTFE powders which consists of various agglomerated particles and are produced to be in compliance with EU regulatory requirements.

Application:

NanoFLON® 114T-RC is a performance additives designed for thermoplastic polymers and elastomers to reduce friction and enhance anti-wear properties. Complete dispersion into primary particles for optimal performance can be achieved in a colloid mill, media mill, or similar instrument.

 

NanoFLON® RC Series powders may be compounded into polyesters, polyamides, polyacetals, polycarbonates, and other engineering plastics and their blends.

 

Recommended Level: 5 – 20% of Total Formula Weight
