PTFE Dispersion

Shamrock offers dispersions of PTFE that may be poured directly from the drum into the mixing container. They assure good wetting, uniform composition, and avoid the handling of powder. They are available in a range of printing ink vehicles, solvents, and in combination with wax.

FluoroSPERSE® 966 is a finely micronized polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) dispersion in a petrolatum and soya alkyd drying oil.

Application:

FluoroSPERSE® 966 is recommended for offset and heat set inks at 2-4% of the total formula weight.
