Fluoro GE designates a series of sub-micron PTFE powders made from emulsion grade Natural Prime PTFE. This series covers a range of molecular weights which determine dispersability, thickening and performance properties. Due to the small particle size, the GE products have a larger specific surface area when compared to other PTFE.
Product Description
Fluoro GE 125-RC is a sub-micron polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) powder and is produced to be in compliance with EU regulatory requirements.
Application
Fluoro GE 125-RC is developed as a performance additive for greases and lubricants to reduce friction and enhance anti-wear properties. Fluoro GE 125-RC is recommended for use in a wide variety of aerospace, automotive, military, agricultural, and industrial applications. It may be used as a shear-stable thickener in base oils such as silicone, fluorinated, and pure synthetic oils. Fluoro GE 125-RC offers good thermal stability, water resistance, lubricity, and is resistant to strong acids, strong bases, and solvents. Complete de-agglomeration for optimal performance can be achieved in a colloid mill, media mill, or similar instrument.
