Shamrock is excited to return to the Eastern Coatings Show and debut its new flattening paste to the U.S. market.

Shamrock’s latest innovation

Shamrock’s new flattening paste is a modified water-based wax dispersion designed to deliver exceptional performance benefits. These include good matting efficiency, less discrepancy between 60° and 85° gloss readings, and improved burnish and Taber abrasion resistance. Additionally, the manufacturing benefits of this innovative product include ease of incorporation, greater consistency, and reduced processing time. The new flattening paste can also be used for post adjustments, making it a versatile addition to any formulation.

Tom Kinlin, Lab Director at Shamrock Technologies, will be formally introducing this new product on May 15 from 8:30am-9:00am in a presentation titled, “Novel Flattening Paste for Matting Efficiency and Improved Burnish and Abrasion Resistance.”
