PTFE Micropowder

SST® products are Shamrock’s PTFE micropowders that are defined by particle size and distribution, molecular weight, crystallinity, surface area, oil adsorption, powder flow, and color. Made primarily from highly controlled recycled PTFE feedstocks, SST® products are used for their ability to provide slip, non-stick, water repellency, texture, release, rub, and abrasion resistance to surfaces.

Product Description:

SST®-1MG is a friable grade of PTFE powder which can be reduced to an average particle size of 1 – 2 microns.


SST-1 MG provides outstanding slip and abrasion resistance. It is part of the SST Series, Shamrock’s premier line of exceptional slip and rub/abrasion resistance additives. SST PTFE powders are available in more than 100 grades, ranging from submicron to 30 micron average particle size.
