Product Description:

nanoFLON® W50C is a stable 50% dispersion of submicron polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) in water. The PTFE has an average particle size of less than 0.5 micron.

Applications:

nanoFLON® W50C is a multifunctional additive for use in waterborne systems. The main areas of application are:

Recommended Level

2.0 – 5.0% of active solids to total formula weight.

The stability of the submicron PTFE particles in this aqueous suspension allows formulators to easily incorporate PTFE.

Notes:

1) Check pH of final formulations and adjust to pH 7-9 as needed,

2) Agitate before use, as settling may occur during prolonged storage.

All components of this product are on the TSCA (USA), DSL and Japan chemical substance inventories. Its monomers are listed on the EINECS (Europe) inventory.
