FluoroSPERSE® UV-515T

High Density Polyethylene & PTFE Dispersion in TMPTA

Shamrock offers dispersions of PTFE that are pourable and pumpable. They assure good wetting, uniform composition, and offer an alternative to the handling of powder. Shamrock dispersions, are available in a convenient range of carriers (water/UV/oil-based), and solvents.

Product Description:

FluoroSPERSE® UV-515T is a stable 30% dispersion of high density polyethylene and PTFE in trimethylolpropane triacrylate (TMPTA) monomer.

Application:

FluoroSPERSE® UV-515T can be used in all UV inks and coatings. FluoroSPERSE® UV-515T is especially recommended for low odor flexible packaging applications where low odor, low volatility, fast curing, and low migration are desired. FluoroSPERSE® UV-515T imports increased hardness, abrasion/scratch resistance, mar/scuff resistance and anti-blocking characteristics to the coating at dosage levels of 4-5% by weight. Simple stirring is all that is needed to incorporate this pre-wetted dispersion. The PTFE in this product also contributes to a low COF and a high temperature resistance.

Features and Benefits:

Increased Hardness
Mar and Scuff Resistance Abrasion Resistance
Anti-Blocking Stable
Ease of Incorporation

Typical Properties:

Appearance:White High Viscosity Liquid
