PTFE Dispersion

Shamrock offers dispersions of PTFE that may be poured directly from the drum into the mixing container. They assure good wetting, uniform composition, and avoid the handling of powder. They are available in a range of printing ink vehicles, solvents, and in combination with wax.

Product Description:

FluoroSPERSE® 8233 is a dispersion of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) micropowder in a soya alkyd vehicle.

Application:

FluoroSPERSE® 8233 is used in the ink industry. This light grey dispersion can be used in most ink colors. It has a pourable body consistency which enables this product to readily disperse in lithographic inks with minimum mixing. FluoroSPERSE® 8233 is recommended for offset inks at 1-4% of total formula weight.
