FluoroFLOUR® Series FluoroFLOUR® 800 Series products are low molecular weight, highly inert Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) powders at various particle sizes.
 

Applications: FluoroPURE® 800 Series powders are exceptional alternatives to traditional materials for cosmetic and skin care formulations. They feature a unique hydrophobic surface that makes them ideal for both dry and wet compacts, emulsions, lotions, and more. They also are excellent process binders in powder make-up formulae.
 
FluoroPURE® C Series FluoroPURE® C Series products are low molecular weight, highly inert polytetrafluoroethylene powders.  
 

Applications: FluoroPURE® C Series powders are an exceptional alternative to traditional materials for cosmetic and skin care formulations. They feature a unique hydrophobic surface that makes them ideal for both dry and wet compacts, emulsions, lotions, lipsticks and more. They also are excellent process binders in powder make-up formulae.
 
FluoroPURE® Fiber 10C FluoroPURE® Fiber 10C is polytetrafluoroethylene microfiber powder.  It is produced by a unique microfiber technology.
 

Applications: The microfibers of FluoroPURE® Fiber 10C have an elegant feel and incredible softness.  They have a unique ability to entrap oil.  They have FluoroPURETM Fiber 10C is extremely flexible and can be used in mascara, hair and all silken cosmetic applications. It also can be incorporated into make-up to allow the true colors to come through in a natural fashion.
 
MicroFLON® and NanoFLON® These PTFE powders are virgin PTFE micronized to various particle sizes and are FDA compliant for applications requiring food contact.
 

Applications: These MicroFLON® and NanoFLON® Powders are designed for food contact applications. These applications include; food processing, machine parts, and medical devices. These PTFE additives are recommended for thermoplastics and elastomers to reduce friction and enhance anti-wear properties.
 
These powders can be compounded into polyesters, polyamides, polyacetals, polycarbonate, and other engineering plastics. MicroFLON® and NanoFLON® are also effective in elastomers and blends of various engineering plastics.
 
MicroFLON® S-Series MicroFLON S-Series powders are virgin PTFE micronized to various particle sizes.
 

Applications: MicroFLON® S-Series Powders are designed for thermoplastics and elastomers to reduce friction and enhance anti-wear properties.
 
MicroFLON® S-Series Powders can be compounded into polyesters, polyamides, polyacetals, polycarbonate, and other engineering plastics. MicroFLON® S Powders have high thermal stability, ideal for polyphenylene sulfide, polyimide, polyether ether ketone, and other high temperature applications.
MicroFLON® S is also effective in elastomers and blends of various engineering plastics.
 
MicroFLON® T-Series MicroFLON T-Series powders are recycled PTFE micronized to various particle sizes.
 

Applications: MicroFLON® T-Series Powders are designed for thermosets, thermoplastics, and elastomers to reduce friction and enhance anti-wear properties.
 
MicroFLON® T-Series Powders can be compounded into polyesters, polyamides, polyacetals, polycarbonate, and other engineering plastics. MicroFLON® T is also effective in elastomers and blends of various engineering plastics.
NanoFLON® Series NanoFLON® Series powders are virgin PTFE micropowder with various agglomerated particle sizes.

Applications: NanoFLON® Series Powders are designed for thermoplastics and elastomers to reduce friction and enhance anti-wear properties. NanoFLON® Powders can be dispersed into submicron primary particle size.
 
NanoFLON® Series Powders can be compounded into polyesters, polyamides, polyacetals, polystyrene, polycarbonate, and other engineering plastics. NanoFLON® is also effective in elastomers and blends of various engineering plastics
SST®–2 SST®-2 is a white low MW PTFE micropowder with particle size distribution at a mean value of 8 µm.
 

Applications: SST®-2 is recommended for use in water-based liquid inks, powder coatings, and water-based, solvent-based and UV coatings at 1-3% of total formula weight when used alone, or at 0.5-1% when used with 2-3% synthetic wax.
 
SST®–2D SST®-2D is a white low MW PTFE powder with a particle size mean value of 7 µm.  SST®-2D has a tightly controlled particle size distribution, resulting in fewer oversized particles.
 

Applications: SST®-2D is recommended for use in offset and liquid inks, powder coatings, and water-based, solvent-based and UV coatings at 0.5-3% of total formula weight when used alone, or at 0.5-1% when used with 2-3% synthetic wax.
 
SST®–2P SST®-2P is an off-white to light gray low MW PTFE powder with a particle size mean value of 8 µm.
 

Applications: SST®-2P is recommended for use in offset and liquid inks. SST®-2P is also for use in water-based, solvent-based, powder, and UV coatings. SST®-2P is recommened for use at 0.5-3% when used alone, or at 0.5-1% of total formula weight when used with 2-3% synthetic wax.
 
SST®–3 SST®-3 is a white low MW PTFE micropowder with particle size distribution at a mean value of 5 µm.
 

Applications: SST®-3 is recommended for use in offset and liquid inks. SST®-3 is also recommened for use in water-based, solvent-based, powder, and UV coatings at 0.5-3% of total formula weight when used alone, or at  0.5-1% when used with 2-3% synthetic wax.
 
SST®–3D SST®-3D is a white low MW PTFE powder with a particle size mean value of 5 µm.  SST®-3D has a tightly controlled particle size distribution, resulting in fewer oversized particles.

SST®–3PS SST®-3PS is a charcoal gray colored low MW PTFE powder with a particle size mean value of 5 µm.
 

Applications: SST®-3PS is recommended in offset and liquid inks. SST®-3PS is also recommeneded for use in powder, water-based, solvent-based, and UV coatings.  The recommended dosage of SST®-3PS in Ink formulations is 0.5-1% of the total formula weight when used with wax. In coatings SST®-3PS is recommened at 1-2% of total formula weight.
 
SST®–4 SST®-4 is a white low MW PTFE micropowder with particle size distribution at a mean value of 3-4 µm.
 

Applications: SST®-4 is frequently used in both the inks and thin-film coatings applications due to its small particle size. SST®-4 is recommended for use in offset and liquid inks.  SST®-4 is also recommended for use in powder, water-based, solvent-based and UV coatings at 0.5-3.0% of the total formula weight.Typical applications include can and plastic coatings.
 
SST®–4MG SST®-4MG is a white low MW PTFE powder with a particle size mean value of 3 µm.  SST®-4MG has a tightly controlled particle size distribution, resulting in fewer oversized particles.
 
 

Applications: SST®-4D is recommended for use in offset inks and thin film coatings. SST®-4D is also recommened for use in water-based, solvent-based, powder, and UV systems at 1-2% of the total formula weight.
 
SST®–4P SST®-4P is an off-white to light gray low MW PTFE powder with a particle size mean value of 3 µm.
 

Applications: SST®-4P is used in both the inks and thin-film coatings applications due to its small particle size. SST®-4P is recommended in offset and liquid inks.  SST®-4P is also recommended for use in powder, water-based, solvent-based, and UV coatings.Typical applications include can and plastic coatings.
 
SST®–5 SST®-5 is a white low MW PTFE micropowder with particle size distribution at a mean value of 3 µm.
 

Applications: SST®-5 is recommened for use in offset inks. SST®-5 is also recommended for all water-based, solvent-based, powder, and UV systems at .5-3% of the total formula weight  (or .5-1% when used with 2-3% of Shamrock’s S Series waxes).
 
 
SST®–5D SST®-5D is a white low MW PTFE powder with an aggregate particle size mean value of 5 µm, and may be de-agglomerated into submicron particles with appropriate mixing.
 

Applications: SST®-5D is recommended for thin film inks and coatings. SST®-5D is also recommened in all water-based, solvent-based, powder, and UV coating systems at 3% of total formula weight (or 0.5-1% when used with 2-3% synthetic wax). Typical applications include high rub offset inks, direct-to-metal (DTM) coatings, can coatings, specialty lubricating coatings for nuts and bolts and metal fasteners.
 
SST®–5S SST®-5S is a 3μm Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) micropowder with a tightly controlled particle size distribution. SST®-5S provides optimum rub and slip performance for thin film applications

Applications: SST®-5S is recommended for use in offset lithographic and liquid inks. SST®-5S is also recommended for all water-based, solvent-based, powder and UV coating systems. This product can be used in can, coil, wood and industrial coatings.
